Anyone with a Dual-Core Processor
I'm having an issue with EQ. I just got my new comp setup, and have a dual-core processor in it. It's not letting me set the processor affinity of Everquest. I get an error saying: "Unable to Access or Set Process Affinity -- The operation could not be completed. Access is denied." I want to set eac...

Ommina is completely correct on #3. I love Western Digital, and pretty much refuse to buy anything else. But yeah... if you have no real preference, whatever you can find that is within your budget and has the size you want, will be good. Maxtor and WD are both fine... I'm not sure what other brands...

Faygo cannon! Who doesn't love a bunch of dorks talking about D&D and spraying Faygo all over the crowd, huh? Szork, I've always wondered about The Tragically Hip. I've seen bits and peices of lyrics from them, and sorta wanted to hear some of there stuff. But no-one I know has heard them, and most ...

I joined shortly after that second list was taken, I'm pretty sure anyway. I know that Feshnoz wasn't in the guild when I joined (I'll refrain from saying the things I want to say about him), though I do recognize about 90% of the names from that list. And Terr, I remember Forsaken Unity (FU), thoug...

The music is indeed Trans-Siberian Orchestra. It's their song "Wizards in Winter."

RE: Tribute Master
There are 2 types of Tribute Masters. There is one for Guild, and 1 for personal. I hope the following rundown will answer most or at least some of your questions. Guild: Guild Tribute Masters can be found in the Guild Hall, and PoK. Anyone can donate items, to bump up the guild tribute, only office...

The new spell icons will take a bit to get used to, but it's amazingly simple to adjust to. I switched to using the T. King icons a long time ago, and was amazed at how fast I adapted. The new icons do look better IMO, though not good enough to make me stop using the T. King ones. Gonna stick with m...

Wizard DPS being so low has little to do with not being able to nuke from the start, but in lack of having infinite mana. Unless the pulling is relatively slow, a wizard nuking for sustained DPS can only nuke so much before they go OOM. Mages, and druids are the same way. So if they get to nuke earl...

Actually doing further reading on it, apparently the comment "Enjoy it until it's nerfed" means more the %s these spells are giving is likely to be nerfed. Since preliminary parsing is showing a ~22% increase in sustained DPS. 22% from 1 buff! That is HUGE for high end stuff, in the neighborhood of ...

RE: Patch notes, patch notes, rolly polly patch notes..
- The ATK bonuses for Ward of the Hunter, Howl of the Predator, and Strength of the Hunter have been replaced with Double attack bonuses. This annoys the heck out of me. I liked seeing my attack in the 1800-1900 range without having to beg for Fero/Champ/FA. That is no longer possible, since these ...

Your test results indicate that the way you process information makes you an Intuitive Investigator. You've got a sharp, logical mind and you are multi-talented. There seems to nothing that your mind can't process and understand. You're able to detect numerical patterns easily, and grasp the true co...

Hehe, it's in the upper right corner, under the "FAQ, Search, etc buttons." It only shows on the forum index. It's not a button, but is a line of text (there are three lines of text in that corner, it's the center one I think). And Goofy, everyone does things differently. Some rely on the multi-bloc...

Possible new sig
The new quote is from Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice." Maybe now Sid can stop saying it reminds him of a Necro.
(Swapped um, new sig is in, this is the old one.)
