I'm not sure if it is something that I did with my settings or something with this website. But It used to remember me and automatically log me in. Lately I have to manually log in every time.

It doesn't always keep you logged in like it used to. I can go a couple of days before I have to click remember me and log back in. Ahh well, t least I have things to read on here. :)

That is so weird Meso, I clicked the box like months ago and when i click my button at top of my favorite bar it takes me right to the CN page and I am always logged in. Wonder if it has something to do with what version of Windows we all have ?

I've also had this issue of being logged out! What browser do you use Bit? I wonder if it's the browser/a setting we have somewhere.

I use Windows 10 and I use Chrome with my favorite bar cross the top. I haven't had to log into any of my pages in forever. Things I go to every day, CN page, bank, yahoo mail. facebook, instagram, noaa weather and of course AMAZON! I can click my fav button from the bar across the top and I am always logged in no matter which one I click.. Very weird.

its usually something on your PC. Its not the Web sight that remembers or forgets you, its a cookie on your pc that provides that info. If you have a cookie cleaner, thats your issue.

Win 8.2 and Firefox
I manage my cookies with CCleaner manually. Just checked cookies keep column and CN cookie is there.
Firefox settings has a checkbox "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed". It is not checked.
I'm open to checking any other settings.

I just changed the cookie name. it was a default name and other websites probably had the same. Its unique now. No other cookie settings would make any difference.

That being said. Everyone was just loged out :)

Not remembering me. I found two cookies with celestial navigators in the name and deleted them.
Clicked firefox (yahoo home page) and then CN bookmark.
These three cookies showed as new:

May have found the issue. What URL are you using to bookmark/visit the website? I don't have any problems if I use search.php?search_id=unreadposts (unfortunately, the website reduces site links to just the latter half of the text, but copy the URL there) instead of cestialnavigators.org/search.php?search_id=unreadposts , the latter does not route to a secure page, which I think may be the issue.

That is what I have as my button too MM. That way I only see unread post and works every time for me.
