Regarding Truthseeker: 04/28/11
Dear CN,
On the early morning of Thursday, April 28 2011, some strong storms and tornadoes swept through Alabama. The storm was close enough to scare several people and nearly chased Truthseeker's wife all the way home from work. One tornado hit about a block or so from their home. While he, his married family, his brother (Quirog) and his mother that live near by are thankfully safe and sound...there is no power where Truthseeker lives. The power company's best guess is that it may take from 3 days to 2 weeks to repair and replace so many downed lines. There is currently no internet and very static cell phone service currently. If it takes longer then 2 weeks to establish service; and if, he is unable to log on due to power and/or internet being out for longer then that, I can try to let CN know as I learn more.
I'm just glad they are all safe. Take care CN.
Your Friend,
Nindy

Thank you! It's good to know they are okay.
Re: Regarding Truthseeker: 04/28/11
Glad to hear TS and family are OK. We also had a brush with storms last Friday in St. Louis but no where near as bad as Alabama. For all the damage caused up here, no deaths.

Re: Regarding Truthseeker: 04/28/11
Everyone rode out the storm waves without damage...
Truth power may still be out until possibly Monday evening and internet will be restored most liely with the ret\turn of the power. All feeder lines from TVA to Huntsville were destroyed and all power is out west of I65 but they are slowly restoring it and expect to be back up to about 90% of the people Monday evening as they replace the missing power lines.

Rel lives in Florida and was not in the tornadoes path. He is just fine also. Even if EQ is now down for a while.
Rog is doing better with more stable internet and Truth is supposed to have power maybe Wednesday because they are working towards Huntsville area. However, residents are on the bottom of the list. The main concern is stabilizing businesses, schools, medical areas to be up and running to make stores and gas available to the masses. Truth's family, according to Quirog is doing ok. However, the neighborhoods will be cleaning up for a very long time.
